Beef Stew in Red Sauce

Beef stew meat about 3 pounds 2 sweet onions diced 3 tablespoons garlic minced

3 sticks of celery minced 1 stick of butter

1 large can of tomato sauce

1 small can of tomato paste

1/2 cup dry red wine

4 tablespoons worcestshire sauce 1 to 2 packages of carrots cut and peeled about 4 large baking potatoes diced and peeled black pepper salt


Add beef stew, onions, celery, garlic and butter to pan cover with water. Cook for about 4 hours. You may need to add some water to pan as it cooks. Keep about 3 cups of liquid drain the rest. Add the meat, liquid, tomato sauce, paste, wine, worcestshire sauce. Then add carrots for 30 minutes. Then add potatoes and seasoning to taste. Cook until tender. And enjoy,
